A LAST MINUTE TRIP TO MAGALUF

How have you guys been ? I hope okay, I am just very much struggling with balancing this uni/work/interning life and its not easy.

Honestly talking bigup for all the people that have been through this life stage and came out of it super strong. If you have any advice, tips on how to not have mental breakdown (lolol) at the end of each week please let me know below xx

However let's forget all this boring life stuff and get talking about this crazy trip. So me and my girls from BIMM decided at the end of June that we wanted to go on a party holiday as we were just feeling like it was going to be lit as the begging of July was approaching. Destinations to pick from were: Magaluf, Croatia or Ayia Napa, all typical party holiday trips you must do in your teens. Getting super drunk, meeting boys and do crazy shit for a week or two. Bear in mind, of course, we are.. kinda responsible people.

Anyway, due to costs & availability, we decided to fly to Majorca Magaluf in Spain, (please comment below if you are ever been or experiences over there).
Situated in Majorca, the major holiday resort for everyone, from old retired couples to fresh out of school six formers. Especially Magaluf is the perfect destinantion for both chill and nightlife, if you enjoy house, drum and bass & garage music you are definetly going to find most events perfect & you will definetly leave satifsied.

WHERE SHOULD YOU STAY?

When booking a party holiday what you always have to consider is the importance between the location of your hotel/apartment to the strip. Really and truly you are not going to be getting ubers every night to the strip and back or walk drunk for miles till you get to your accomodation.
I would advice max 10 min walk from the strip is the maximum distance. 

Me and my girls decided to pick a quite "bait" hotel in Magaluf called the BH Mallorca. An adult only resort with free hotel amendments. This came with at least 3 different pool areas and one jacuzzy, a huge fiteness/ gym center, a water park, providing 9 different slides open during majority of the day.
The hotel has a quite powerful WiFi so youshouldnt worry about using all your data up. 

BH Mallorca is literally situated 5 min from the beach and is only 100m to the main stirp with a 2 min walk back entrance that opens around 4 am in the morning. Mainwhile the reception entrace it's a bit tricky but is open 24hrs as per se. 

What I honestly loved about BH Mallorca and was the smartest move when booking our package, was the opportunity to get all incluse stay with breakfast, lunch and dinner sorted without worring on where to eat or having to cash out or all of that jazz. The meals are in a buffet (help your self) setting where you just decide from such a huge selction, it was honestly overwhelming sometimes too much food lolol. 

Another pro of the hotel and why I will still advice to spend your time here is their amazing daytime pool parties,  (we were lucky enough that the week we were there it was rnb and hiphop parties) with inclusive open bar the whole day from around 11 am to 19pm. You are litterally pre drinking before your nightout on "cocktails" (let me calla them like this but still pretty good), beer, wine and soft drinks. 

The rooms are pretty good and clean, the only problem are the towels really. They can be kind of grey as it's a party hotel, alot of the customers most likely use it to clean up real disguting mess that happen when you too haved soo, aswell as the plates are sometimes not run properly by the kitchen porter, some days where okay some day meh; but overall we just cleaned them with tissues. 

WHAT IS THERE TO DO AT NIGHT? 

There are 100s of bars and clubs on the strip but if you have a particular music preference it's a bit hard.
If you are into RnB, HipHop, Rap, Trap, Grime, Bashment Afrobeats ect. essentially "black people music" let me be honest with you Magaulf ain't really that type of motive. On the whole strip there are litterally 3 bars playing those genre and the only lit one is called Alexi's. 

If you dont mind House, Techno music the you are perfectly fine as majority of the places upto play music very similar to that or even pop charts and stuff like that. 

So yeah it wasnt bad, but it was kinda disspointing sometimes because it wasn't as lit as it could have if the music was right. 

Promoters are on the street chasing you to buy tickets and coming to get free shots and drinks, before you decide to make your purchase make sure to reserch the bars, as they most common events are usually bar crawls, different destinantion, different drinks, diffrent music etc. (kinda long in my opinon)

WHAT TO DO IN THE DAY TIME 

As a mentioned early on, the beach is 5 min from Magaluf "High Street" so definetly go have a dip in the sea, go snorkelling, skydiving, jetskiing, kite suring, parasailing, scuba diving and much more. Honestly the sea water is interestingly very salty tho it's weird never came across something like that. 

THE PEOPLE 

If i could i would write a whole different blog post about this, I would butit's not going to be neccessary at all as we already have a youtube video on a newly launched channel called CAJTV with me and my girls hollering and screaming about the weirdos we encoutared on the trips. From old white men thinking we hoes to crazy french guys tryanna do madness during a drink up. So just tune in to hear all the crazy tea.  Ps: I lost my voice and I looked a mess please allow me lolol

Conclusion, was an amazing trip eventhough real crazy shit happend but built unfogettable memories and i cant wait for another chapter soon in summer 2020.
